NEMA Enclosures

CABA develops custom metal electrical enclosures to meet project-specified NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, or 4X requirements. Each enclosure can be designed around the installation environment, enclosure configuration, material, dimensions, sealing, cable entries, and internal equipment layout.

CABA’s NEMA enclosures are custom-built for individual projects rather than offered as a fixed range of standard stock products. The final enclosure structure and protection requirements are confirmed based on the complete enclosure assembly and the project specifications.

Custom NEMA Enclosure Types

NEMA 1

Designed for indoor environments, providing fundamental protection against incidental contact and accumulated dirt.

NEMA 2

Suitable for indoor settings where additional safeguarding against dripping water is required, in addition to Type 1 protection.

NEMA 3

Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, offering resistance against environmental factors such as windblown dust, rain, sleet, and snow.

NEMA 4X

Provides Type 4 protection with added corrosion resistance for indoor or outdoor use.
